All proceeds benefit Angel Flight East
Celebrating 15 Years of Hope in Flight!
Join us on Saturday September 6 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Wings Field, 1501 Narcissa Road, Blue Bell for a day of fun-filled activities for the whole family. Event highlights include:
- Displays of vintage, new, and military aircraft
- Antique and classic cars, including participation from local car clubs
- Incredible scenic rides in a helicopter or an open cockpit biplane
- Live music, delicious food, and an array of children’s activities
- Special appearance by B-101 – “Buzzbee and the Bee Crew”
- The Franklin Institute’s aviation “road show” and a few other surprises…
When you’re there, be sure to visit the Harleysville National Bank / Millennium Wealth Management booth. Millennium is proud to sponsor this event for the fifth consecutive year in support of Angel Flight East. This volunteer pilot organization facilitates free air transportation to meet the needs of patients requiring medical treatment in distant locations, as well as flying missions for humanitarian needs and disaster relief. The pilots donate their time, skills and all expenses related to the missions they accept. In 2007, AFE pilots flew 700 missions to benefit those in need of air transportation; over half of the recipients were children.
